Water can often cause issues on sites, however, on many it’s an environmental need to help keep wildlife thriving in the area, as well as to aid drainage to compensate in areas of construction or declining habitats. Wetland and swale creation can be formed to help boost local ecology. Swales are designed to both store and allow controlled water run off, whilst at the same time allowing biofiltration to attenuate water and remove pollutants.

Clews & Co Construction can provide bespoke design and builds of organic swimming pools and lakes. A lake is more than just water, its about the plant life and architecture that will surround the finished project. By adding a reef edge into the design of your pond or lake, you can add a large planting zone as well as boulders and rockeries for aesthetics. Plants do not thrive in deep water so this is an essential part of your project if you desire a green vegetation belt. By using locally sourced stone, we are able to construct bespoke weirs to suit your requirements whilst maintaining a sense of originality to the area.
